Zaahah is a closed, invitation only application used by verified schools and youth organizations to promote and manage positive, real-life activities for teenagers. All users must be invited by a school or youth organization. Zaahah does support communities of staff and parents, but teenagers are protected – no one-on-one adult – minor interaction is allowed.
With Zaahah, teenagers can safely connect with their peers, make new friends, explore, and join school or community-based clubs and teams and attend events and activities.
Zaahah organizes a user’s content, connections, and conversations by interests making each user experience unique. Zaahah provides:
One bulletin, or feed, of content from all the clubs a user is a part of, as well as content from other he/she is “following”,
Ability to share text, photos, videos, links,
Simple views of all the user’s connections and clubs,
Secure chat
Calendar of all extra-curricular activities
Ability to flag anonymously inappropriate content, which can be dealt with immediately by a school or club administrator.
Zaahah does not track user behavior and will remain free and ad-free for school-based communities and minors. In the future, advertising to adults may be allowed.
